Your $9.95 order is a pre-order reservation for a limited edition remote and 30% discount off the retail value of Mado Shades which you will be able to order via Kickstarter soon. Please follow us on Kickstarter here so you can be notified as soon as we start taking orders.
Mado Shades and the promotional remote are expected to start shipping in Spring 2025. Thank you for your support!
What sizes do these shades come in?
We are offering configurations that accommodate the following window widths:
Small (24" - 36"), Medium (36" - 48") and Large (48" - 60").
During the simple installation process, the window shades are aligned perfectly with the actual width of the window opening.
All window shades will work for window openings up to 84" high.
How much do these shades cost?
We are working hard to streamline our manufacturing and supply to ensure you get the best product at a very affordable price. Our pricing (including discounts) will start at $279.

What material are these shades made of? Are they available in a variety of colors?
We offer two types of insulating honeycomb fabrics: one for light filtering/privacy and one for blackout.
The Light-Filtering fabric uses a sheer duo-tone non-woven fabric with a linen look.
Our Blackout fabric is also non-woven fabric with extra insulation and white backing, that offers the maximum benefit of energy-savings and noise reduction properties.
We are pleased to offer both these fabrics in two popular color options: Timeless White and Modern Carbon.
How long will it take to install Mado shades?
Actual installation time will vary based on the individual and the window configuration. In our experience, most installations done "inside" the window frame are comfortably completed in 2–5 minutes by first-time non-professional installers.
While the ideal installation is "inside" the window frame, shallow window-frames may require an "outside" installation requiring a drill and usage of the optional brackets provided in your kit. This will add a few minutes to the overall installation time.
